5.Backrest Height: Ideally, it should reach below the lower edge of the scapula. A lumbar support cushion is recommended, with a height of 250mm being optimal. The position of the lumbar support varies with the backrest angle.

6.Armrest Height: The distance from the top edge of the armrest to the seat surface. Its primary function is to support the weight of the arms, reducing shoulder strain. The typical height is 200-300mm above the effective thickness of the seat cushion.

7.Seat Cushion: When seated, approximately 75% of a person’s weight is supported by an area around the ischial tuberosities, covering approximately 25cm². Prolonged sitting can cause pressure fatigue, leading to pain and numbness in the buttocks. Adding a moderately soft and firm seat cushion can increase the contact area, distributing pressure more evenly.
